The Sally Cove (English for departure bay in Chile Caleta Javiera ) is a bay on the north west side of Horseshoe Iceland before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959. It was named after the fact that the bay was the starting point for all dog sled teams in the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey on Horseshoe Island, whose target area was north of the island. The namesake of the Chilean name is presumably a relative of a participant in the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948).
