The Saltoro Kangri (also K10 ) is at 7742  m the highest mountain of the Saltoro Mountains in the Pakistani Karakoram .

The Saltoro Kangri is located in the disputed region of Kashmir , on the southern flank of the Siachen Glacier . Due to its very remote location in a conflict zone, it is rarely visited.

In 1962, a Japanese-Pakistani team led by Tsunahiko Shidei made the first ascent . The summit was reached on July 24th by the two Japanese Atsuo Saito and Yasuo Takamura and the Pakistani RA Bashir via the eastern flank and the southeast ridge.
