Salvatore Aronica (born January 20, 1978 in Palermo ) is a former Italian football player .
Career
He learned to play football in the youth of SSD Città di Bagheria. In 1996 he was bought by Juventus Turin , where he played a league game in the 1997/98 season and won the Scudetto with Juve . In July 1998 he switched to Reggina Calcio on loan , but without playing a single competitive game. Three months later he was loaned to FC Crotone in Serie C1 for the remainder of the season . In the summer of 1999, Crotone bought him fix from Juventus Turin. At Crotone, Aronica completed a total of 107 league games and scored his only goal as a professional. In the summer of 2002 he was awarded to Ascoli Calcio. A year later he was signed by Messina Calcio , with whom he played three seasons in Serie A. In 2006 he returned to Reggina Calcio and made a significant contribution to maintaining the league in Serie A.
At the end of August 2008 he was signed to the SSC Napoli. He made his debut for the southern Italians on September 14, 2008 in the game against Fiorentina .
In the winter break of the 2012/13 season , Aronica moved within the league to US Palermo . He signed a contract until June 30, 2015.
