Salvatore Caci

Salvatore Caci (born October 21, 1976 in Cologne ; † October 3, 2017 ) was an Italian actor and acting agent.

Life

Salvatore Caci grew up as the son of Sicilian immigrants with five siblings in Cologne . After graduating from high school, he completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman at Allianz Versicherungs-AG in Cologne from 1994 to 1997 . In 1997 he was on stage for the first time and played the leading role in Crash at the Spielballtheater in Cologne . After realizing that the insurance industry didn't suit him, he turned to acting and took several years of acting classes . His acting teachers included Laura Tassi , Wladimir Matuchin and Christoph Hilger .

In 1999 he stood in front of the camera for the first time, for the ARD series City Express in a leading role in an episode directed by Cornelia Dohrn. In addition to acting, he started working as the head of an acting agency in Hürth in February 2007 , because he was of the opinion that too few roles were offered in Germany for actors with a migration background . In 2009, he went with the agency Caci in Cologne independently and supervised since German and bilingual actors nationwide in the areas of film, television and advertising.

Caci died on October 3, 2017 after a brief illness. Caci was buried on October 9, 2017 in the Mülheim cemetery in Cologne.
