Sameena Jehanzeb

Sameena Jehanzeb (born July 14, 1981 in Bonn ) is a German - Pakistani writer , graphic designer and illustrator . She is a representative of the German fantasy .

Life

Sameena Jehanzeb grew up in Sankt Augustin . After graduating from high school in 2001 at the Albert Einstein High School in Sankt Augustin, she studied graphic / communication design and scientific illustration / painting. In 2006 she graduated with a diploma and has been working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator for various publishers and companies since 2005.

In 2017 her debut novel BRÏN , a fantastic genre mix of fantasy , thriller and individual elements of science fiction , was published by Butze-Verlag. In 2018, Winterhof was followed by a dark novella and modern adaptation of the fairy tale The Snow Queen published by Liniengold-Verlag. The illustrations contained in the book come from the author herself.

Sameena Jehanzeb primarily deals with fantastic topics, legends and fairy tales, both in writing and in artistic-technical work, to which she likes to add a modern and sometimes rebellious touch. Diversity and same-sex relationships are a natural part of the worlds she designs.

Since 2009 she has been living and working in Bonn again.
