Sami Musa

Sami Musa (born October 2, 1984 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2020 .

Professional and private

Musa's father is the restaurateur and hotelier Xhelil Musa, who moved from Kosovo to Hamburg-Harburg in 1970 . He completed training as a restaurant manager and the hotel manager and since 2014 managing director of the hotel Musas Grüne Tanne.

He is married, has a daughter and lives in Hamburg-Eißendorf .

politics

Musa joined the SPD in 2009 . From 2014 to 2019 he was a member of the Harburg District Assembly .

In the 2020 citizenship election , he ran at number 54 on the state list and moved into the Hamburg citizenship because he received a particularly large number of votes. In the 22nd electoral term he is a member of the Family, Children and Youth Committee, the Science Committee, the Europe Committee and the Submission Committee.
