Samwel Torossjan ( Armenian Սամվել Տորոսյան , English transcription: Samvel Torossian ; born May 27, 1988 ) is an Armenian cross-country skier and biathlete .
Samwel Torossjan starts for the Gyumri Winter Sports School . At the Summer Biathlon European Championships in 2008 he was 33rd of the sprint and thus did not qualify for the mass start race. He also appeared nationally in cross-country skiing at the Armenian Championships in January 2010, where his best results were ninth place in the 10-kilometer classic and eleventh place over the 15-kilometer freestyle. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Osrblie , he started alongside Howhannes Sargsjan as the first Armenian in a major biathlon event and was 34 with seven shooting errors in ten attempts. Like his compatriot, he no longer competed in the pursuit race.
