The San Martín Glacier is a large glacier in Queen Elizabeth Land, West Antarctica . It flows west to the Support Force Glacier and bisects the Argentina Range in the Pensacola Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the Argentine icebreaker ARA General San Martín , who was the first team at the turn of the year 1955/1956 the Belgrano I station on the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf and with which numerous rescue and supply trips were undertaken in this area.
