The Support Force Glacier is a large glacier in the Pensacola Mountains of West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . It flows northward between the Forrestal Range and the Argentina Range to the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf .
Its area was geodetically surveyed by the United States Geological Survey and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the support units of the United States Navy in Antarctica , the United States Antarctic Program supported logistically.
