San Francisco de Wayo is a Warao Indian village in the Venezuelan state of Delta Amacuro . In 2001 it had 1176 inhabitants.
Wayo had been a Warao settlement for a long time when the Capuchin Fr. Basilio María de Barral built the San Francisco de Wayo (or Guayo) mission station there in 1942 . He later built a school for Warao children there.
