On October 21, 2003, the elevation to the title church of the Roman Catholic Church took place by Pope John Paul II. The patron saint is Justin the Martyr .

The church building in a neo-Romanesque style has a traditional floor plan with a rectangular nave, a five-sided apse and five side indentations and two small five-sided chapels on the left. There is a bell tower on the left. The apse shows an apotheosis of Justin the Martyr, flanked by a depiction of the evangelists, by the artist Achilli Achilli.

The church is located at Viale Alessandrino 144 in the Roman district of Alessandrino .
