San Miguel in Latre

The parish church of San Miguel in Latre , a district of the Spanish municipality of Caldearenas in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon , was built at the beginning of the 12th century.

architecture

The Romanesque church still has its original apse . The nave and the tower are from a later period. The consoles below the roof of the apse are richly carved with human heads and ornaments.

Furnishing

The equipment consists of three baroque altars. In the high altar , the archangel Michael is shown killing the dragon.
