San Pedro de Guasayán (also: San Pedro ) is the capital of the Guasayán department in the province of Santiago del Estero in north-western Argentina . It lies on both sides of the border with the Santa Rosa department in the Catamarca province , 124 kilometers from the provincial capital Santiago del Estero and is connected to it via the Route 64 . In the classification of municipalities in the province of Santiago del Estero, it is classified as a municipality in the 3rd category.
