Sanchez Peak

The Sanchez Peak is a 2800  m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the southern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 4 km east of Mount Craddock from a ridge that extends eastward towards Mount Osborne .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after 2006 after the American physicist Richard D. Sanchez, who was involved in the evaluation of remote sensing and GPS data using the geographic information system for the creation of maps as part of the United States Antarctic Program Antarctica was involved.
