The Sandanski Point (English; Bulgarian нос Сандански nos Sandanski ) is a 500 m long headland on the east side of the John Paul II Peninsula of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . As an extension of the Oryahovo Heights, it protrudes 2.4 km north of Agüero Point and 3 km south of Black Point into Hero Bay and limits the entrance to Stoyanov Cove to the north .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the town of Sandanski in southwestern Bulgaria .
