The Stoyanov Cove (English; Bulgarian Стоянов залив Stojanow saliw ) is a 2.6 km wide and 1.1 km long bay on the east side of the John Paul II Peninsula of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . As a side bay of Hero Bay , it lies between Agüero Point and Sandanski Point .
Bulgarian scientists mapped them in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2010 after Velichko Stojanow (1932–1999) for his support in the Bulgarian Antarctic program.
