Sandra Brown (author)
Sandra Brown (born March 12, 1948 in Waco ) is an American bestselling author. She also published under the names Rachel Ryan , Laura Jordan, and Erin St. Claire .
Sandra Brown lives with her husband, a television producer, alternately in Arlington , Texas and South Carolina . Before her career as an author, she worked successfully as a model, actress, entrepreneur and television star.
She made her breakthrough in 1990 with the thriller “Trügerischer Spiegel”. Her books regularly occupy high places on the New York Times bestseller list.
Prizes and awards
Brown received several awards including:

- the American Business Women's Association's Distinguished Circle of Success ,
