Sandra Pixberg

Sandra Pixberg (* 1970 in Essen ) is a German author.

Life

Pixberg grew up in North Rhine-Westphalia and after a one year work stay in South America studied cultural studies , Romance languages and education . After completing her master's degree, she worked as a journalist and advertising specialist, initially in the Hanseatic city of Bremen , and from 2002 on on Rügen . She wrote (under the abbreviation spix ) articles on scientific and cultural topics.

In 2007 her first book about the life of the Rügen pastor Johann Gottlieb Picht was published . In the regional crime thriller Viertelmord - Chavis und der tote Tänzer , published in 2012, she linked the plot and people with the history of the Viertel district of Bremen . In cooperation with the non-fiction author Karolin Küntzel, she published four hiking and cycling guides from Rügen, Fischland-Darß-Zingst and Usedom between 2014 and 2016 . In 2017 a travel book about Rügen was published.

Pixberg lives with her family in Altefähr on Rügen.
