Sandra Strunz

Sandra Strunz (* 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German theater director .

Career

Sandra Strunz studied directing with Jürgen Flimm at the University of Hamburg .

The first directorial work was done at Kampnagel in Hamburg and in the Basel barracks . Then Strunz staged at the Thalia Theater Hamburg , the Staatstheater Stuttgart , the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Schauspiel Hannover , the Schauspielhaus Zurich , the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden . In recent years she has worked at the Bonn Theater , the Darmstadt State Theater , the Mannheim National Theater and the Giessen City Theater .

From 2012 to 2016 she was honorary professor at the Academy for Performing Arts in Baden-Württemberg , where she headed the theater directing course.
