Sandro Agricola (born June 25, 1987 in Bad Tölz ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who currently plays for the Deggendorf Fire in the major league.

Career

Agricola began his career in the junior team of EC Bad Tölz , where he was active for the first time in 2002 for the junior team in the German junior league. While the goalkeeper was called up to the professional squad in the 2003/04 season , but did not play a game, he made his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga in the following season . This was followed by five more games in the second-highest German division, before Agricola in the summer of 2006 accepted a contract offer from the then league competitor, the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg , which he left after only a few months and joined the upper division Hannover Indians .

The then 20-year-old was able to perform well with the Indians and thus attracted the interest of the Kölner Haie, who transferred him to Cologne for the 2008/09 season and provided him with a license for the third division EHF Passau Black Hawks . Agricola will be on the ice in the 2008/09 season for both the Kölner Haie and the EHF Passau. For the 2009/10 season he joined the Passau local rivals Deggendorf Fire .
