Sandro Repetto

Sandro Repetto (born September 3, 1959 in Bozen ) is an Italian politician of the Democratic Party of South Tyrol .

biography

Repetto studied economics at the University of Verona and obtained his laurea in 1986 . Professionally he works as an entrepreneur.

Politically, he has been involved in various Christian Democratic and center parties in Bolzano city politics since the 1980s. In 1989 he came to the municipal council for the first time as a representative of the Democrazia Cristiana . In 1995 he was re-elected to the Forza Italia - CCD list, 2000 to the Noi per l'Alto Adige list , 2005 for La Margherita , 2010 for the Unione di Centro (UDC), 2015 and 2016 for the Democratic Party . From 2000 to 2010 he was in charge of the cultural department as a city councilor, and from 2016 he was responsible for the areas of culture, social affairs and assets. Under his aegis, the Bolzano City Museum was closed in 2003 in order to start renovation work, which was not subsequently carried out.

In the state elections in 2018 , Repetto was able to win a mandate for the South Tyrolean state parliament and at the same time the regional council Trentino-South Tyrol with 2562 preferential votes on the list of the Partito Democratico .
