Sangngag Choling Monastery
The monastery Sangngag Chöling ( Tib .: gsang sngags chos gling ) in the homonymous community Sangngagqoiling in the northeast of the Lhünzê (Lhüntse) district of the Shannan administrative district in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China in southern Tibet is a monastery of the Drugpa-Kagyü tradition (' brug pa bka 'brgyud), one of the so-called "eight smaller schools" of the Kagyu school branch of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ) and forms the newer headquarters of this Kagyu tradition.
