Kusmuk, who competes for SK Romanija , took part in the Cross-Country Balkan Cup in Sarajevo for the first time in March 2012 and finished ninth and seventh over 5 km freestyle. In the 2015/16 season she competed in the IBU Cup . Her best placement was 67th in the sprint in Martell . In addition, she came in the top ten three times in the Balkan Cup , including third place over 5 km freestyle in Pale and thus reached fourth place in the overall standings. In the following season she finished second in the Balkan Cup once and first place three times and thus achieved second place in the overall standings at the end of the season. At the season highlight of the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , she came in 81st place in the sprint. In the 2018/19 season she won two victories over 5 km freestyle in Sjenica .
