Sankt-Jakobi-Kirche (Müelte)
The St. Jakobi Church is located on a hillside to the south-east above the market square of the town of Müuellen in Saalekreis , Saxony-Anhalt . It belongs to the parish Mücheln in the church district Merseburg Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
The oldest components of the town church and the substructure of the tower date from the 13th century. The nave was probably built as a hall church after the fire of 1718 . The construction of the baroque pulpit altar and the organ loft with the mechanical Papenius organ also fall during this period. The crypt is located under the sanctuary . The keystone bears the images of the lamb of God , lion, dragon and crescent moon with star . The church with its diaconate is a stop on the Camino de Santiago .
