The Sankt-Viti-Kirche in Tüttleben , district of Gotha in Thuringia is the most famous attraction of the place. There was probably a previous church, as is so often the case in this area. A plaque is set into the tower - its text, written in Latin, reads in translation:

This tower was founded in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ 1463 on the 22nd day of March.

The foundation walls of the church will come from this time, which was later rebuilt several times, most recently in 1691. The church tower has an external bell. The three bells from the years 1798–99, which still existed around 1900, became a victim of the world wars. The parish no longer has any "riches" similar to those of its neighbors in the Seebergen parish . In the past, people were not as anxious as they are today to cherish and look after the church inventory as a memento of old times. The church also suffered several times from vandalism and theft .

The nave is 19.0 × 9.5 m, the tower on the west side measures 4.5 × 4.5 m. Today's roof covering uses the tried and tested “Thuringian slate” for the pointed spire , and the nave was always covered with bricks for cost reasons. During studies of the building history, paintings from around 1700 were documented in the nave, they are still hidden under the plaster. The lavishly decorated pulpit from the Renaissance period is the most striking decoration inside the church. Two canvas paintings show Martin Luther and pastor Jakob F. Thiele, who died in 1728 . The church organ was made around 1725.

The church and churchyard are surrounded by a man-high, picturesque sandstone wall and fences. The historic cemetery houses some old tombstones, some of which have remained in their original location.

The church and its surroundings are under monument protection. With the help of the Church Building Foundation of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), work is currently underway on concepts and projects for the structural renovation of this church.
