Sans Souci is the name of a metro station on Line D of Métro Lyon between the Garibaldi and Montplaisir-Lumière stations at the intersection of Cours Albert-Thomas and Rue des Tuiliers on the border with the 3rd and 8th arrondissements.
The station was put into operation on September 9, 1991 on the occasion of the opening of line D between the stations Gorge de Loup and Grange Blange.
The two opposite side platforms are in the tunnel. Some of the light comes from a small “English style” garden on the south side. There is no staff at the station, the tickets are sold and disposed of automatically. There were lifts for handicapped people from the beginning , and platform barriers have been in place since June 1, 2007 .

The station has seven entrances:
- four in the north on the Cours Albert-Thomas towards Gare de Vénisseux
- three to the south towards Gare de Vaise
- one to the west on Cours Albert-Thomas
- one on the corner of Cours Albert-Thomas - Rue des Tuiliers; there is also a light shaft and the small garden
At each entrance there is a ticket machine and a validator that is connected to a turnstile .
The entrance to the light shaft and garden is marked by a "dragonfly"; this name was given to the trademark of the D line, designed by the architects Françoise-Hélène Jourda and Gilles Perraudin .
Connection
Sans Souci is connected to the entire network.
At the output is a bus stop for TCL - bus 69th
To the west at the former Manufacture des tabacs de Lyon ( Manufacture - Montluc station ) you come to the tram stop of the T 4; this is also where line 69 has its terminus.
From here, in addition to the adjacent streets and squares, the following facilities can be reached:
