Santa Marta da Montanha is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district ( concelho ) of Vila Pouca de Aguiar . 135 inhabitants live in it (as of June 30, 2011).
As part of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 , Santa Marta da Montanha was merged with the communities Afonsim , Gouvães da Serra and Lixa do Alvão to form the municipality of Alvão .
