Saoserne ( Ukrainian Заозерне ; Russian Заозёрное Saosjornoje ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 850 inhabitants.
Founded in 1902 as Janowka ( kaновка ), Saoserne has had its current name since 1960 and is the administrative center of the 63.096 km² district council of the same name in the southeast of Kachowka Rajon , which also includes the village of Olhiwka ( Ольгівка ⊙ ) with around 400 inhabitants.
The village is located on the regional road P-47 about 125 km east of the oblast capital Kherson and 48 km southeast of the district center of Kachowka .
