Sapu is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 497 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 348.

geography

Sapu is located on the southern bank of the Gambia River in the Central River Region , Fulladu West District . The place is about 3.8 kilometers northeast of Brikama Ba and 1.5 kilometers east of Saruja .

This is where the Sapu Agricultural Station is located.

A sacred and religious place of worship is known near Sapu .
