Sarıköy ( Turkish for yellow village ), ( Arabic Saʾri ) is a village in the district of Midyat in the Turkish province of Mardin . Sarıköy is located about 64 km northeast of the provincial capital Mardin and 16 km southwest of Midyat. According to the last census, Sarıköy had 868 inhabitants (as of December 2009). The population consists mainly of Mhallami Arabs.
