Sara Stewart (* 28. June 1966 in Edinburgh as Sara Scott Griffith ) is a British actress .

life and career

Sara Stewart was in Scotland Edinburgh, the daughter of American born parents and spent her childhood and partly in the United States . She later moved to London and studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama .

Stewart started her career as an actress with numerous television series such as Hautnah - Die Methode Hill , Monarch of the Glen , Inspector Barnaby and New Tricks - Die Krimispezialisten . Her best-known roles were as Stella in the series Sugar Rush and as Gaynor in Ashes to Ashes - Back to the 80s . As a film actress, she has appeared in films such as The Road to Guantanamo , A Cock and Bull Story , Batman Begins and Her Majesty Mrs. Brown . She also played frequently in plays and appeared on stage in London's Royal National Theater and Royal Court Theater from 2007 onwards .

Stewart is married to fellow actor Aden Gillett , with whom she has two children and lives in the London area.
