Sarah Buxton

Sarah Buxton (born July 3, 1980 in Lawrence , Kansas ) is an American country singer .

Live and act

During her studies at Belmont University in Nashville, she founded the southern rock band Stoik Oak , with whom she performed for three years. She was initially a background singer with Kenny Rogers , John Corbett and Cowboy Troy , with whom she also recorded a single in 2005. Then she focused on a solo career and got a recording deal with Lyric Street .

Her solo debut single Innocence was equally successful and made it to number 31 in the country charts. Other top 40 country singles followed in the following years. In addition, Keith Urban re-recorded her song Stupid Boy in 2007 and not only had a hit, but was also awarded a Grammy . However, it was not until 2010 for Sarah Buxton's first album, which had her name as a title. It came to number 12 on the country charts and also made it onto the official Billboard 200 .

In 2008 she played the role of "Hokey Pokey Woman # 3" in Bedtime Stories .
