Sarah Sutherland

Sarah Jude Sutherland (born February 18, 1988 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress in film and television.

life and career

Sarah Jude Sutherland was born to Kiefer Sutherland and Camelia Kath. She is the granddaughter of Donald Sutherland and the great-granddaughter of Tommy Douglas , a former Prime Minister of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . Until 2006 she attended the private school Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica , California . In 2011 she appeared in the short film Snuggle Bunny: Man's Most Lovable Predator for the first time in front of the camera. This was followed by roles in films such as Beneath the Harvest Sky , Pretty Perfect or Chronic alongside Tim Roth and Bitsie Tulloch under the direction of Michel Franco. She made her breakthrough on television in 2012 with the role of Catherine Meyer in the hit series Veep - The Vice President , which she played until 2019.
