Bitsie Tulloch (2011)

Elizabeth "Bitsie" Tulloch (born January 19, 1981 in San Diego , California ) is an American actress . She is best known for her lead role as Juliette Silverton in the television series Grimm .

Life

Tulloch's father is a bank clerk and worked for banks in Latin America. Therefore, she grew up in Spain, Uruguay and Argentina. After returning to the United States, she attended schools in Bedford , New York , and graduated from Harvard University . The name "Bitsie" is her grandfather's nickname.

In December 2014, Tulloch confirmed the relationship with her Grimm co-star David Giuntoli . They got engaged in April 2016. In the summer of 2017, the wedding was announced on Twitter and Instagram .
