Alpha and Omega is an American-Indian computer animated film of the directors Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck from the year 2010 .
action
Alpha and Omega tells the story of a somewhat naive male wolf named Humphrey and a more mature female named Kate, who live in Jasper National Park , Canada . The two have been best friends since childhood. Humphrey has a lower social rank in the pack (omega wolf), whereas Kate, as an alpha wolf, is part of the pack leadership. Nevertheless, they are friends with each other.
That changes one day, however, when Kate is sent to Alpha School for pack leader training. She is said to unite the two warring packs of the North Wolves and the South Wolves by marrying the Wolf Garth. But two stunning arrows prevent this. When the two wake up again, they find themselves in the far-away Sawtooth National Forest in Idaho to rebuild the wolf population that has died out there. But Kate desperately wants to go back home to prevent the two wolf packs from going to war in the park through her marriage.
On the long journey home in the Canadian motorhome , the two get to know each other and discover that they have a lot in common. Due to his childish nature, Humphrey sometimes gets himself into difficulties in the course of the journey, from which Kate always has to save him, although conversely this is also useful in some situations. But Kate fell in love with Humphrey during the trip, while Garth has now fallen in love with Kate's sister Lilly, who is also an Omega. In the end, everyone sees that every wolf can make its contribution to the pack, regardless of its social rank. With this the existing hierarchy of the pack is dissolved.
