Chris Carmack
James Christopher "Chris" Carmack (born December 22, 1980 in Washington, DC ) is an American actor and model .
life and career
During his high school years, Carmack took an interest in the theater , starring in numerous school plays and theater festivals . After graduating, he completed an art degree at New York University . There he was discovered as a photo model and was then seen in campaigns by Abercrombie and Fitch .
After moving to Los Angeles , he returned to acting. In the early 1990s, he made a guest appearance on A Terribly Nice Family . His best-known role so far was that of Luke in the hit series OC, California from 2003 to 2004 . In 2006 he starred alongside Lindsay Lohan , Chris Pine and Samaire Armstrong , his colleague from OC, California , in the comedy film Kissed Luckily .
Carmack celebrated his in the first half of 2006 Broadway - debut with the play Entertaining Mr Sloane by Joe Orton , in which he in the title role opposite Alec Baldwin occurred. In 2009 he appeared at the Echo Theater Company in Studio City, California , in The Illustrated Birth of Padraic T. Duffy .
In 2005 he played the role of rock star Jason in the comedy Lovewrecked . In 2008 he appeared in the eleventh episode of the fourth season of Desperate Housewives . In a guest appearance he got involved as the cousin of Susan Delfino ( Teri Hatcher ) on an affair with her neighbor Katherine ( Dana Delany ).
In 2009 he was seen in the role of Sam Reide in the film Butterfly Effect 3 - The Revelation and as Sebastian White in the action film Into the Blue 2 - The golden reef and in 2010 he played in the romantic comedy Business Plan to Fall in Love with Hilary Duff . 2011 followed a role in David R. Ellis 3D - Horror - Thriller Shark Night 3D .
Since 2013 he has been part of the regular cast of the ABC television series Nashville . In it he plays the role of Will Lexington, who joined the series during the first season and was expanded to a leading role with the beginning of the second season. In late August 2016, Carmack and his fiancée Erin Slaver became parents of a daughter.
