Helmut Gauss

Helmut Gauß (born August 2, 1944 in Weimar ) is a German actor and voice actor . After training to be a car mechanic, he began acting and is still a freelance actor and voice actor today. In 1967 he completed an acting training at the theater school "Hans-Otto" Leipzig .

Career as a voice actor

As a voice actor , he has appeared in films such as Pretty Woman as the voice of actor Jason Alexander in the role of Philip “Phil” Stuckey, in Pulp Fiction as the voice of Christopher Walken , in Star Wars episodes I-III and The Clone Wars as voice to hear from Samuel L. Jackson in the role of Mace Windu . In current series, Helmut Gauß is as James Belushi ( Dan Harris ) in Emergency Room - Die Notaufnahme , as Matt DeCaro ( Corrections Officer Roy Geary ) in Prison Break , as Rex Linn ( Detective Frank Tripp ) in CSI: Miami , as Ted Levine ( Capt. In the German dubbed version of the film Zoolander , Gauss gave Donald Trump (who played himself) his voice. Gauß dubbed Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler in the 1993 world hit Schindler's List .

Acting career

Since 1967 Helmut Gauß worked as an actor for theater, television and cinema. With various arrangements at German theaters such as B. at the Theater des Westens in Berlin and at the Stralsund Theater he made a name for himself as a theater actor . On television he was seen in various episodes of Tatort and in “I love life” as “Richter Voss”.
