Vicki Lewis (born March 17, 1960 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American actress , stage actress and voice actress . Lewis gained great fame through the NBC sitcom NewsRadio .

life and career

Lewis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Marlene , a nursing home manager, and Jim Lewis , an air traffic controller. She has a sister, Denise .

Lewis graduated from Anderson High School in Cincinnati in 1979. She attended the University of Cincinnati, where she studied musical theater. She graduated from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and moved to New York. She began with supporting roles in film and television production. This was followed by appearances in various television series, including Hör mal, who hammers , NewsRadio and How I Met Your Mother . In Godzilla , she played Dr. Elsie Chapman and voiced her in Godzilla - The Series . She was also heard in Finding Nemo as a dubbing voice.

Private

Lewis was in a longstanding relationship with Nick Nolte . The two began a relationship while filming Go Here In Hollywood? . She is now married to the engineer Philip G. Allen Sound.
