Sarru-kīn I.

Sarru-kīn I , based on the Bible also Sargon I , was the 35th  Assyrian king between 1920 and 1881 BC. ( Middle chronology ), or 1856 to 1817 BC. Chr. (Short chronology).

It is not to be confused with Sargon of Akkad (Sarru-kīnu), after which it may have been named.
