Sascha Spors

Sascha Spors (* 1972 in St. Ingbert ) has been the senior scientist of the audio technology group at Telekom Innovation Laboratories since 2005 .

From 2001 to 2006 he conducted research in the fields of wave field analysis and wave field synthesis during his doctoral thesis . In 2006 he received his doctorate with distinction from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering , Electronics and Information Technology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg , as a result of his work as a research assistant at the chair for multimedia communication and signal processing .

Sascha Spors is a member of the IEEE , the German Society for Acoustics (DEGA) and chairman of the specialist committee for spatial audio of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).

In 2011 he received the DEGA Lothar Cremer Prize .
