Sascha Studer (born September 3, 1991 ) is a former Swiss football goalkeeper .

Career

Studer played his first Axpo Super League game for FC Aarau in the 2006/07 season on April 1, 2007, against FC Sion at the age of 15 years, 6 months and 29 days . From then on, however, he had hardly any appearances in the professional team and from 2007 to 2009 played almost exclusively in the Aargau U-21 team in the 2nd division regional and interregional . He is still the youngest goalkeeper in the top division to this day. In the 2008/09 season he was loaned to Concordia Basel for a game, but immediately moved back to FC Aarau.

Since the relegation of FC Aarau in the summer of 2010 and when regular goalkeeper Ivan Benito moved to Grasshopper Club Zurich , Studer took over the role of goalkeeper at FC Aarau from the start, but was ousted by Joël Mall in 2011 . It was awarded to FC Winterthur until the end of the season . Then he was firmly committed by FC Winterthur, where he could not assert himself. In January 2013, Studer was loaned to the German third division club SV Babelsberg 03 until the end of the 2012/13 season.

In the 2014/15 season he played for the English fourth division club Mansfield Town . Studer was first goalkeeper there, but lost his regular place during the season. He then ended his career and began training as a financial advisor.
