Saugut was a children 's program on Austrian radio that was broadcast by ORF 1 in the Okidoki children's section .
action
The show was about the wild boar Franz Ferdinand ( hand puppet ). As a normal wild boar, Franz Ferdinand lived in the forest until evil researchers pursued him and turned him into a talking, purple wild boar with a violet flash of lightning. After turning into a purple pig, he made a nest with the young teacher Vivi. There he played pranks on her, her boyfriend and her neighbors.

In addition to Saugut, there were other shows with Franz Ferdinand such as the "Sau-Schlau-Show", in which Franz Ferdinand received guests and asked them questions. Franz Ferdinand also did other short shows in which he was an agent, superhero or singer. These short excerpts were faded in like commercial breaks in the Sauschlau show.
