The Savage River is a river in Alaska .

The headwaters of the river are north of Cantwell . It flows in a northwesterly direction and joins the Teklanika River west of Healy . Its entire course lies in Denali National Park in the Alaska range .

The national park road from the park entrance to Kantishna crosses the Savage River. The Savage River Campground is on the riverside.
