Savage Season ( Japanese 荒 ぶ る 季節 の 乙 女 ど も よ。 Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. ) Is a manga series by Mari Okada and Nao Emoto . It was released in Japan from 2016 to 2019 and was implemented as an anime television series in 2019 . The story, aimed at young men, tells of a girls' high school club where erotic literature is discussed.

content

A Japanese high school literary club is made up entirely of girls. And these very different schoolgirls are primarily interested in love and sex, even if some of them are still skeptical about a real relationship with a boy. But in the club they can indulge in romantic and erotic stories together. For Niina Sugawara ( 菅原 新 菜 ), sex is one of the most important things in life and she already has many admirers, while Rika Sonezaki ( 曾根 崎 り 香 ) is rather avoided by the students because of her cleanliness . Hitoha Hongō ( 本 郷 ひ と 葉 ) wants to become a writer and would like to learn in the club how to write erotic literature - for which she secretly goes to chats with adults. Kazusa Onodera ( 小 野寺 和 紗 ) and Momoko Sudō ( 須藤 百 々 子 ) have been friends since childhood. While Kazusa has been in love with her sandpit friend Izumi Norimoto ( 典 元 泉 ) for a long time , but does not dare to approach her popular classmate, Momoko feels drawn to other girls and especially to Sugawara.

publication

The manga was published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from December 2016 to September 2019 . Its publisher Kodansha also brought out the chapters in eight edited volumes. The final volume contains an epilogue that did not appear in the magazine.
