The Saxby Pass is a mountain pass in the Admiralty Mountains of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It runs south of Lange Peak through the Lyttelton Range .

A team from the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program led by geologist Robert H. Findlay first walked this pass between 1981 and 1982 on the way from the Atkinson Glacier to the Dennistoun Glacier . The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Eric John Saxby (* 1937), who was head of the Vanda station on the shores of Lake Vanda and coordinator for geological work in northern Victoria Land at the time.
