Scalloway Islands

The Scalloway Islands are in Shetland across from Scalloway in the southwest of the main island Mainland . The small archipelago includes:

  • Hildasay / Hildesay - belongs to the Civil Parish Tingwall
  • Langa - belongs to the Civil Parish Tingwall
  • Linga (not to be confused with numerous Shetland Islands of the same name) - belongs to the Civil Parish Tingwall
  • Oxna - belongs to the Civil Parish Tingwall
  • Trondra (connected to the main island Mainland and Burra with a bridge) - belongs to the Civil Parish Tingwall
  • St Ninian's Isle , connected to the main island Mainland by a tombolo , further south - belongs to the Civil Parish Dunrossness
