Scavas was a car brand from Greece .

Company history

The engineer Vassileios Scavas worked for Biamax . In 1969 he started developing an automobile that was finished in 1973. The next vehicle was built in 1992. The third attempt was made in 1996.

Scavas 1

This was a coupe with gullwing doors . A four-cylinder engine from NSU with a displacement of 1200 cc provided the drive . The vehicle was approved for road use.

Scavas 2

This was also a coupe with gullwing doors. A planned series production failed. This vehicle was also approved for road use and was used by Vassileios Scavas.

Scavas 3

This remained a design study.
