DIM Motor, George E. Dimitriadis & Co. was an automobile manufacturer from Greece .

Company history

George E. Dimitriadis, who previously headed Bioplastic , founded the company in 1977 to manufacture automobiles. The company's headquarters were at 23-25 ​​Lekka Street in Athens . The factory was in Acharnes . In the same year the first model was presented at the Geneva Motor Show . Participation in other automobile exhibitions followed. Production ended in 1983. Another source mentions a series production between 1981 and 1991. In total, only about ten copies were made.

The only model was a small car. The engine from the Fiat 126 initially had 594 cm³ displacement . Later the displacement was 652 cm³. The engine was mounted in the rear and drove the rear axle. A tubular frame formed the chassis. The body was made of glass fiber reinforced plastic ( polyester ) and offered space for four people. With a wheelbase of 198 cm, the vehicle length was 320 cm, the vehicle width 150 cm and the curb weight 525 kg.
