STYL KAR (Greek: ΣΤΥΛ ΚΑΡ ) was a Greek company in the automotive industry.

Company history

Stylianos Karakatsanis founded the company after the Second World War in Thessaloniki as a repair shop and sales point for motorcycles . The first commercial vehicles emerged. In 1965 the company moved to Athens and in 1967 a new factory was built. In the 1970s the company was dissolved.

The first commercial vehicles consisted of the front of a motorcycle and a rear axle. There was a loading area above the rear axle. There was no body or weather protection. Later commercial vehicles were also three-wheeled, but had a contemporary body. In 1967 the 1300 model appeared with an air-cooled boxer engine from Volkswagen . Several thousand of these three-wheeled models were made. In 1970 a four-wheeled truck with a 2 ton payload followed .

In 1970 a small sports car appeared.
