Schönke / Schröder

The Schönke / Schröder (also written Schönke-Schröder ) is an important commentary on the German penal code .

It has been published since 1942. The commentary was justified by Adolf Schönke , who also edited the 1st to 6th edition. Horst Schröder continued this work from the 7th to the 17th edition. Schönke died on May 1, 1953, Schröder on September 12, 1973.

In the meantime, the commenting for different sections or paragraphs is taken over by different editors (see below). A passage from the Schönke / Schröder is usually quoted as follows:
